Lakewood Memorial Parks & Funeral Homes are Jackson’s premier funeral home/memorial park combinations. With funeral homes and cemeteries located on both Clinton Blvd. and McCluer Road, families throughout Jackson are able to plan all services from one location. LAKEWOOD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME

Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home, constructed in 2002, is located amidst the magnolias and live oaks across from Lakewood Memorial Park. The funeral home has more than 8,400 square feet of space with an additional 2,400 square feet of outside, sheltered areas for families’ convenience. Three large visitation rooms and a lounge with a covered patio area contribute to the amenities of this lovely structure. Lakewood also offers a secure, well-lit parking area.

One of the most unique features of this state-of-the-art facility is its interdenominational chapel that contains a beautiful stained-glass window with a “Tree of Life” theme. This window, which measures 14 x17 feet, was removed from the old funeral home, repaired and placed in the new chapel. Stained-glass windows from the former building were placed in the structure as well.

LAKEWOOD MEMORIAL PARK

A profound serenity embraces those who visit Lakewood Memorial Park . Since its founding in 1927, families of the Jackson community have embraced Lakewood as one of the area’s finest and most beautiful resting places. Tradition echoes throughout the park’s emerald lawns and gardens. Sparkling lakes offer Lakewood visitors a quiet haven for reflection and remembrance. Lakewood offers traditional ground burial, lawn crypts, mausoleum entombment, as well as options for those who choose cremation.

The Garden of Peace lawn garden area offers families economical memorialization choices of everlasting beauty and charm. Graceful sculptures and rich landscapes adorn the walkways of the Garden of Peace. The Chapel of the Lake Mausoleum is an elegant, yet affordable, option for families considering mausoleum entombment. This magnificent mausoleum is convenient to parking and boasts a hillside setting overlooking a lovely lake below.

LAKEWOOD SOUTH MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME

Since 1997, the families of South Jackson have been able to experience the convenience of all services in one location with the addition of Lakewood South Memorial Funeral Home, located on the grounds of Lakewood Memorial Park South. Constructed in a Southern colonial style, the funeral home features a covered drive and an ample, well-lit parking area. Inside, you will find traditional furnishings accented with a rich mixture of textures and jewel-toned colors. Two visitation rooms are available to families, but can be turned into one room for large gatherings. An inspirational chapel, refreshment area, selection room and arrangement offices are also available.

LAKEWOOD MEMORIAL PARK SOUTH

Lakewood Memorial Park South is a 50-acre park conveniently located on McCluer Road. Lakewood South offers the same options as Lakewood Memorial Park and continues to serve one of Jackson’s most populous areas.
